I used semi-AFK to describe circumstances where you are technically at the controller but not doing anything beyond what a rubber band could do, such as the method mentioned in post #80 of this thread with a cup of coffee being drunk while watching the scenery roll by. Or reading an assignment for class while pressing a button on the controller every once in a while to make sure the controller hasn’t fallen asleep. These methods would be technically at the keyboard (or controller) but mechanically similar to true AFK with the first perhaps being more active with the camera and the second perhaps being more active with things like checking telemetry and both probably more responsive to failures in the system.
