Does anyone know the stock spring rates and dampers of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 6 TME?
I’ve been looking around the internet for hours and ask people in forums but all i get is “Tarmac settings”

Hello Blind x Ghost,
I hate to be the guy to bring the bad news, but there are only two places to get that information, both of which are going to be incredibly difficult to obtain such information from. First would be straight from Mitsubishi’s engineering department itself, and since such information is technically property of the company, it’s pretty much impossible to get your hands on it that way. The other way would be by getting the information from anybody who has taken the stock springs off of the car and compressed them while obtaining the amount of force in pounds for every increment of measurement during compression (whether in centimeters or inches). Tuning companies could be a good approach for this–I would recommend AMS Performance because they specialize in Mitsubishi’s Evo’s, but I don’t know if they’ve ever worked on an Evo 6, particularly the TME model.
There may be a third option, but it’s even more challenging. You could try to find an aftermarket company that builds springs for the car with a full spec sheet of the part’s performance. If you can get your hands on one of these spec sheets, sometimes they’ll show you the performance of the aftermarket springs compared to the stock springs (they’re usually similar to what a dyno chart looks like for any other aftermarket part compared to a stock part). Then it’s just a matter of doing some math (if necessary) to figure the “settings” for the stock springs. Where to hunt for such information is a little beyond me though–I typically make educated guesses based on spec info from a plethora of aftermarket parts when necessary, and most often without being able to obtain factory information such as what you’re hunting for.
I won’t lie, it’s tough to find exactly that very kind of thing you’re hunting for. Hope this helps though.
Cheers,
