i tried upgrading an evo 10 earlier and the turbos are glitched fit a race turbo and get no extra bhp and it loses 3 pi over standard turbo!! Anyone else noticed this
Maybe it’s just possible to fit a turbo too big?
EDIT: I guess that’s not it. I just tried it and it doesn’t matter whether the turbo is the only upgrade or if you have every other engine upgrade, the two turbo upgrades seem to only add weight and a bit of lag without otherwise changing the torque curve at all. I also tried a mile long drag race with the car maxed except for the turbo upgrades. Got roughly the same time with each so there’s no hidden gain either.
yeah thats exactly what i found the turbos work fine on other evos… very odd
Fitting a bigger turbo does not automatically make the car faster thers always a certain point in tuning where certain mods achieve no extra power,bhp,etc unless combined with other engine mods…
That’s why I tried it out with other mods. It doesn’t matter whether you have no other mods or all other mods, the turbo upgrades only add some weight and a little lag to the torque curve. This situation is suggesting that the stock turbo is the perfect size for 600hp with a flat curve and yet it doesn’t cause lag when the engine is making half that power.
In real life this is true (to an extent) but not in the game, the Evo 10 is just bugged. Of course it’ll never be fixed though.
every other car in the game u put race turbo on gives bhp regaerdless of other mods except this car, i got turbo car irl and i know that if you dont have remaps etc then bigger turbos are useless.
This Glitch has been mentioned many times and Turn 10 have yet to fix it
