We all know how much good maps are created in Event Lab but they are not used anywhere else but in weekly Festival Playlists.
So i think it may be a good idea to have an option to race on those maps in open pvp adventure. So it may be one map from Event Lab in usual pvp playlist or completely separate mode with the best maps of the week/month.
100% agreed, a curated selection of eventlab maps in horizon open would definitely help the online multiplayer with staying fresh in the long run
Also I somehow can’t create any new topic so I’m suggesting it here, please implement a rivals leaderboard system for eventlab maps, having zero competitive aspect to custom race tracks is just sad

There is also a lot of crap in EventLab. The way they featured some in playlists would maybe work, but I don’t think the devs would want to put in that sort of effort for online play. I can’t remember their even changing anything for online ever, except eventually adding the missing S2 class in tour … or open, whichever it was, only ever played them for achievements.
Curation could easily be automated
Trackmania has a system where you can rate maps on how much you like them, from -3 to +3
Do the same in Forza, a bad map comes up? Gets immediately bombarded by player reviews
