Essential Improvements for Forza Horizon 6 – Speed Physics, Car Controls, AI & More

Hello Forza Team,

I’ve been playing Forza Horizon 5 for a long time, and while it’s an amazing game, I’ve noticed several issues that could be improved in Forza Horizon 6 to make it the ultimate driving experience. Here are my main suggestions:

  1. Speed Physics Feels Off
    • The sense of speed in FH5 feels unrealistic. When driving at 200 km/h, it looks and feels more like 100 km/h. The speed perception should be adjusted to match real-life sensations better.

  1. Car Lighting & Indicator Controls
    • We need manual control over car lights (high beams, low beams, fog lights, etc.).
    • AI cars can flash their headlights, but we can’t—this should be an option for players.
    • Turn signals (indicators) should be added for realism and immersion.

  1. Cornering & Car Handling Physics
    • Many cars in FH5 feel unnaturally slippery when cornering, even with tuning adjustments. No matter how much I improve stability, cars still slide too much on turns.
    • Players should have more control over stability settings, allowing them to increase or decrease grip based on personal preference.
    • Traction Control (TCS) has little effect in the game. It should make a more noticeable difference when turned on/off.

  1. Small Realism Details (Antenna, Steering Wheel, Tire Sounds)
    • The car antenna (radio receiver) stays stiff at high speeds. In real life, it should bend, vibrate, or even hit the windshield, making a ticking sound at extreme speeds.
    • The steering wheel animation inside the car should rotate fully instead of stopping halfway.
    • Tire sounds are not always clear, and different tire types should have unique sounds for better realism.

  1. AI & Car Variety Improvements
    • AI drivers need improved behavior—sometimes they act too robotic.
    • More realistic mid-size sedans should be added, like the Toyota Camry, Nissan Altima, Hyundai Sonata, etc. Not every car needs to be a sports or hypercar; we need more daily driver options.

  1. Full Vehicle Customization Options
    • Players should have the ability to fully customize the car’s appearance, including:
    • Changing the color of chrome parts (trim, badges, exhaust tips, etc.).
    • Adding decals to the windows.
    • Full window tinting options.
    • Changing the color of vehicle lights (LED, halogen, neon, etc.).

Final Thoughts

Forza Horizon 5 is an amazing game, but fixing these issues and adding these features in Forza Horizon 6 would make it truly complete. I hope you take these suggestions into consideration!
