Hello, I downloaded Forza Horizon 4 but whenever I try to launch the game I get error 0x8027025a. I have tried power cycle including unplugging the console, removing my account and adding it again. Every other game loads fine including multiplayer games, it’s just this game I have issues with.
I’m having the same problem, bought it last night and left it to install overnight. Come to play it and it says “for some reason Forza has taken too long to start”, it says there is a core Xbox live service down at the moment so maybe it’s that? Really don’t want to uninstall and reinstall.
No idea why but my messages are moderated and delayed. In my first comment I mentioned that I play on console. I contacted Xbox support and after a long troubleshooting they said it’s my network, but it isn’t.
Them saying it’s your network is utter nonsense. Noticed the increase in the last 24 hours of people saying their game isn’t loading…?
I have two xboxes at separate addresses and one is working find with forza, the other not at all. Doesn’t even load. Absolutely ridiculous in my opinion!!
I think that she did not know what else to say so she came up with the connection issues and told me to call my ISP. I told her that I didn’t think that that was the issue because all other games load but she said that she could see that there were connections issues on my account. So, after the power cycles, unplugging the Xbox One X, removing my account, calling my ISP as she advised and opening all kind of things (NAT, UPnP and such) on the router settings, the game still does not load. The problem is that she ended the customer service before I called my ISP and she considered that she had solved the issue. The reality is that the game still does not load, that the internet connection has nothing to do with it and that I can not play the game.
She was not able to solve the issue that I had and I do not know what is wrong, so basically there is nothing left to try but to uninstall the game, so I just uninstalled it. It’s going to take a while until it is
downloaded again. I’ll update you guys.
If more people has loading issues please contact Xbox support so they realise that there are issues loading the game and that our IPS are not to blame.
I’m also having this issue. It happened a couple of times in the first few days after the game came out, but last night and today it’s way worse. I have to start the game maybe 7 or 8 times before it’ll get past the splash screen and load as normal.
I’ve tried hard resetting the console, uninstalling and reinstalling the game/DLC, and deleting and re-syncing my save data, but none of that has fixed it. All of my games are digital and only FH4 is affected as far as I can tell, cos the other games I’ve tried to play have loaded up just fine.
You can report this via the Xbox Insider Hub app, even if you’re not an insider. Install the app, then do the following: -
Launch FH4 and wait for it to fail to load. Leave the error message on screen.
Hold in the Xbox button on your controller as if you’re going to turn it off, but choose the “Report a problem” option.
Fill out a bug report, choosing the option to include a screenshot - that will grab a screenshot of the error message - and submit it.
That way the bug report goes straight to Xbox team devs and it includes logs generated by the console that might help them figure out what’s going on.
I had tried everything. I uninstalled the whole game and installed it again, it’s the only thing that fixed the problem. I sent the report to Microsoft as SigmaTheDJ suggested. The game is awesome, in 60 fps mode (Xbox One X) blows my mind. It would be nice to have the option to select a male voice navigator though.
