After completing a practice session or a race in any mode, I go to the loading screen in between the game and the cenematics, and stay there. The game stays on that laoding screen, no text block about retreving results or anything. Just the loading screen and the post race music on repeat.
Is this repeatable after rebooting your device, in the same modes?
I’ll retest and get back to you on it, but off hand I assume it is.

Career mode, Italian Challengers Tour, All wheel Driven after completing the VIR Practice session.
Also after 2nd consecutive free play race. In between race end and the award cenematic. Correction. The game resumed after I wrote thiis. Must have been a long load time.

While in free play, if I exit to the event menu, the game never loads. Tried it 5 times since restarting my PC.

I am having a similar issue after career mode practice sessions and races on Steam.

I got this problem too.
I started getting this problem a week or two ago. I can set up a race in free play, finish it, but then after I click to progress to the podium/race credits etc, I get a blank screen and the game won’t progress. What’s going on? I never had this until then.

I noticed that when the problem is about to happen, while in game I stop getting car points, penalties stop being punished, and track sector times stop popping up. Directly after seeing these issues, the following post-race cinematic, or trying to go back to the pre-race menu’s never load.
Just placing this here to help the unfortunate intern that might be assigned to look into this. Maybe this would be a good place to start looking.
It’s almost like the problem isn’t on my end. Another tell of it happening is unusually long load times. I wanted to squeeze in one more free play race before having to leave, and now the load time from pressing enter in the menu and getting on track was beyond 4 minutes. It seems as if there is an issue when my game has to communicate with the servers, and that is where the problems are arising. Aren’t car progression and penalties issued from the servers? Seeing that they stop before I am unable to move between the game and post-race cinematics, really comes across as a failed check of some sort.

Yes, great callout on noticing that you are not getting car xp per sector and that will eventually lead to the black screen hangup. I logged back in this month for the new challenges and hoping that this issue was fixed but sadly its still happening. I think it is something with the online connectivity. I am having this issue in free play races. I also notice the issue with not receiving car xp and money after completing Rivals events but this does not cause the hangup.
