Could there possibly be tornadoes, since there is a working model of the atmosphere and non-scripted weather? Because if there were it is actually correct because tornadoes have been seen in Italy and France

Easy, there is no rain and rain. Might be variety of rain strengths, but that is it. Hopefully they will add the other thing I asked for in FH1, SNOW. Especially when they added the Rally part in FH1. Some of the guys actually worked on Colin McRay Rally, so they should know how rally works. You need rain, snow, ice, etc. Weather is the same, there need to be a variety. Wind, rain, snow, sun, etc.
Wind would add another level of complication when you are driving. If you had traction control off, it is raining, and it is windy, you would be fighting 3 things to stay on the road.
Yes, that would be awesome. But as we have seen with FM5 less SIM is what they are going for lately. That’s why I am getting FH2, they added stuff people asked for, not ignored them. Thanks Ralph.

I believe the consensus is that there won’t be any snow. That would have to include snow, sleet, and ice and I doubt they’ve done the research for that yet. Also, they’ve made such a big deal of the rain that if there were snow we would’ve already heard about it.
Can’t wait to see fog, though. I think that’ll create some cool driving.
Ok guys and gals, who here knows how long the day/night cycle is? I did not like the cycle in the first Horizon. It was way to freaking short. At least be 4x longer or 2x minimum. Now the question for rain. How long can it rain for? If it only rains for like 4 miutes im gonna be pissed off. Rain should last in some cases 2 days in game and sometimes only for 5 minutes.
I think that the day/night cycle is simulated at the same rate as Horizon 1. The weather will be “dynamic” so I think that the duration of how long the rain lasts will vary.
That is something i did not want to hear. Horizon 1 day/night cycle was just to short for me. I love driving at night. In horizon 1, day time lasted longer. I understand that the weather is dynamic but from videos, rain only lasts a little bit more than 2 minutes or shorter. Godammit
I agree with this.!!! I loved driving at night in original Horizon but when I timed the night cycle with a stop watch, night time lasted only 8 minutes versus day times 20+ minutes if I’m not mistaking, it was very annoying. I couldn’t really enjoy the night time. 30 minutes for day and 20 minutes for night would probably look better

comparing drive club with horizon 2 is like comparing saga rally with colin mcrae rally no contest !!
From what I have seen and heard, its rain only. It will very from light to heavy but that is about it.
