Im getting very agitated about this on going problem…
Why is it that out of about 4 out of 10 my game keeps freezing when loading into multiplayer games? And whenever it freezes, I have to turn my 360 off and turn it back on. This is starting to become way too frequent. Is there something wrong with the online?
I remember reading that turn 10 addressed this, but did they ever fix it?
It is quite annoying; I do believe that Turn 10 attempted to fix this issue, but no luck.
I know what you mean. It’s always done it but it seems to be happening more and more lately. I gave up and played something else the other day after the 3rd time in a relatively short session. Hopefully it will get fixed, but I can’t see it happening now.

If your discussing console freeze when returning to a public lobby, it seems to happen to most people. At first, I thought it was just my forza, so I replaced the disc 3 times. replaced my xbox twice, and the issue still stands. theres not much we can do about it, but a couple of tips on how to avoid the xbox freezing. While in game, ensure your car has a paint job. Even if its just a random letter just big enough to be seen. If the race loads, and that design/letter isn’t there, then its a good indication that you wont make it back to the lobby, normally within the last minute, you dashboard your console, don’t back out to lobby, it still happens. Once dashboarded, if its a private hosted game, such as cruise or tandem games, message the current host to wait for you. start forza back up again, then get another few games out of it. I freeze every three games, so you can imagine how frustrating it is, every 20 minutes I have to restart my xbox.
Some other players out there with advice on how to dodge the lobby freeze, but this is the way I avoid it.

I’ve had this happen twice. Once I was in the multiclass ABCs lobby. At the end of a race, things completely locked up when trying to return to the lobby. I actually had to hard shutdown the xbox (holding the power button). It was late so I just left it off for the night. Another time was at the beginning of a race, the intermission ended and the start time counted down, but the loading screen froze. Again I had to reset my Xbox, but when I got back to the lobby (I ended up in the same lobby that I had been in) they were finishing the race.
having been in IT, I recognize that this could be two different issues, but it’s irritating none the less.
Ive tried everything to get around the issue. New discs, new consoles etc. Nothing helped. I posted on here a few weeks back and found out its an underlying issue. the best way to stop it happening is what I said previously, dashboarding from in game and then resume back onto forza and try to find the same lobby. It helps get a few more races in. Designs not loading are the biggest giveaway telling you its going to do it, so that’s how I prevent it. Also, I have noticed, it only freezes up when using custom cars. using standard production cars, I managed to go 40+ races without a freeze, 2 races using my own cars and it freezes up.
