After the Nüburbring pack, I have been getting an odd sound in races with than 1 drivatar. The bug happens the most in areas with a high amount of reverberation, at the start of Yas Marina full circuit is an area that causes the bug very often. The bug sounds like a speaker maxing out, but I know that my speakers are not even close to the max volume.
I have tried changing the sound options in the system settings, cleaning the disk, rebooting the system, changing between my headset and TV speakers, and nothing has fixed this bug. Has anyone else encountered this bug?
I’ve had something similar happen. I was racing on Spa alone and it sounded as if there were more than one engine in the race. I’ve also had it happen (Spa and Nurburgring) where it sounds as if more than one engine is very very loud in close proximity, but there are no cars near me on the track.
Hmm, im having an issue similar to your’s it sounds like the speakers are cracking in the background at a high rev volume, i play it over night and volume is on low majority of the time.
Dont no what to do to fix it only happens on Forza!?
Yep me too, also after Nurburgring add on. It seems to be most present when colliding with drivatars,it has a static sound with a tube kind of effect.
I did a hard reset and that seemed to have fixed it but only for awhile,I’m about to re-install the game and see what happens.
I just powercycled my system, and that fixed the problem for now.
If that doesn’t work is there anything you can do?
I raced on the Ring again today and it was considerably worse than I had experienced before. OP was right, it sounds like my speakers are maxing out even though they’re pretty low - an accurate description would be that someone replaced the air filter with a spiral notebook, places a poor quality microphone behind it and recorded the engine sound with the mic volume too loud.
I tried power cycling the console, and the issue persists on the Nurburgring. It’s weird because it sounds like my car has a turbo and I can hear the valve blow off during shifts but the car I’m racing does not have a turbo, I have done no aspiration conversion, and I’ve never downloaded a tune for it…
Had the same thing happen to myself, I thought my Sony Bravia speakers were gone. there were no other noises apart from menu sounds and all I could hear was a popping sound from the speakers.
I did a console reset and the problem has since gone.
I am experiencing the same problems. I find it mostly happens to me when you run a tire along a rumble strip, instead of the deep rumbling sound that is normally produced I am hearing a weird sound similar to a speaker being turned up too high.
Soo is there a fix for this? Because its really annoying???
All you people need to do, even with console on instant on. Make sure you have nothing still open. What do I mean? Before you say Xbox Turn Off, go to console home screen. Then start hitting B Button. If any apps or games is still running it will cycle backwards through them. When you get to a game, you have to hit Xbox button to go back to home screen. Once you have backed out of everything then turn off console with command or controller. Ever since I’ve started doing this, I’ve never had to hard restart my console. No more issues with chat, game sound, nothing. Takes 10 seconds or less to do. Depends on how much stuff you were doing during session.
