The option of custom drivatar livery is useless and doesn’t work in Free Play. In career mode it works but nothing on the Free Play side. It’s been like that for me since FM6 and nothing as changed. I hope they fix this.
At the very least it would be nice to choose the color of the AI cars.
I sometimes like to fire up Free Play and do some broad approximations of Super Touring races with the E36, the Audi RS4 and the 850.
The setting to give these cars a livery is on. But what I get is mostly placeholder, taxi, police and other half baked race liveries from other players to race against. And that’s highly annoying.
I have a slate of touring car liveries for these models in my own gallery.
And I think the option to populate the AI with designs one has in one’s own gallery would greatly enhance the Free Play experience. Thank you.
