I personally do not like drifting that much. Drifting is a way to turn corners without crashing but sacrificing some of your speed. I just want to hear the community’s opinion on drifting.

Seriously though, drifting isn’t racing. It’s pretty much all about fun, style, and is basically a judged form of art. You can race all you want, but simply turning on your Xbox, joining a lobby, putting on some music and drifting right next to someone is the most satisfying thing to watch and do. You probably haven’t done/seen enough to appreciate it.

There was a time when i didnt even know what drifting was (PS1 - Gran Turismo days)
I used to race loads and loved it but when i got Forza 1 and tried drifting an S15 on the Harbour track (man i miss that place) even though i crashed a tonne of times i loved it.
i very rarely race now, i’ll race in the beginning to build my money up then im off buying cars to make into drifters.
Its a completely different side to normal motorsport and even though i’ve been doing it years and yes i sometimes i do get fed up with it i always come back to it because nothing else compares.
Like what SD Blinky said the people who dont like it dont have a great understanding of the sport havent given it the time of thought.

Takes patience (also lots of)
And plenty of friends to drift with 
But its great fun.
