Downloading VIP (Installation Stopped)

Hey guys, my dad recently made the swap to Xbone and joined Forza.

I got given some codes and everything has installed but when Horizon 2 VIP goes to install the we get a ‘installation stopped’ once it hits 100%.

Does anyone have a idea of what to do? Tried the usual uninstalling and re installing but get the same message, tried a hard reset from in the settings menu. So does anyone have any ideas on how to get the VIP to install as I haven’t ran into this on my end before.

I think the FH2 servers have issues right now

But surely that would not affect downloading VIP on the Xbox One? I’ll wait till tomorrow and retry it though.

It very well could. I’m guessing the install includes communicating with the Forza server to ensure it is aware of your new VIP status (and for Forza Rewards purposes).

I have a feeling Shadow is on to something here, hopefully once the servers are back in working order the VIP will download properly. Good luck.
