DNF

Well the title says it all.
In online in almost every time DNF!

Mostly I think because of that first turn. People slam into me I spin out.
In career I drive with all assist off. (driving and braking line on). Manual shift with out clutch. (in RL I drive automatic)
With a controller, Im looking for a racing wheel.

I almost never spin out corners than… But online its happening a lot.
Maybe I want to badly…

Im not looking for winning tips. But more like tips to finish a race.

Try the multi class ABC’S its almost impossible too dnf in those lobbies, and that will give you a better feel for passing and avoiding collisions

Usually your better off just letting them have turn one. Focus on getting through the turn cleanly, even if it means giving up a couple of spots. Once the field thins out you will easily catch the slower drivers.

^what he said usually its best to start last. also you can try driving in 3rd person from the farthest view. to help keep an eye on traffic for the first lap and then switch to whatever your comfortable with. honestly tho is just an experience thing. after a while youll know what to do when someone slams into you, tries to take you etc… also normal steering makes it easy to counter steer so you wont have to fight with the steering as much. (as in moving the stick left and right as much). I don’t use it but I noticed this while seeing what the fuzz was about.

my experience is that you’ve got some folks who’ve tuned their cars for a solid launch,if you can keep up with them, you’ll avoid the “bangers” typically. Other wise, I’ve watched racers who had previously humbled everyone in the room, putt along at 10%… only later to capitalize on every missed apex, missed shift, etc… (color me amazed at their skill).

Another thing to watch for is ALMOST anytime someone chooses a large SUV… the weight of the vehicle makes it very easy to bash others around and makes it very hard to be pushed back. I’m totally with you on hating the griefers, I’ve assumed that it’ll be my own skill that keeps me clear of those causing accidents.
