Deadlights Rally Mexico

As you can tell fellow Deadlight Kustoms member CFunk2001 has been a great (mostly willing I think!) collaborator and provides fantastic tunes for nearly all of my paints.
This is our biggest project to date.

Following on from the rally we made in FH4, a layout for an Eleven stage rally was created, starting in Guanajuato and traveling the map on asphalt, gravel, dirt and sand. Stages start almost right where the previous one finished and the final stage ends where it all began.

We chose the Retro Rally class as it had the best rally modification’s and there are Elleven cars, which pleased our OCD to no end. I converted my paints to all Eleven and Funk tuned all Eleven to particular specifications for parity.

As lights featured heavily on these cars, limited visibility and extreme conditions were used.
In car and no hub is highly recommended and a thrilling challenge!

Hat’s off to the both of you for the effort you put into the tracks, paints and tunes. I used the recommended car/tune/design for each Stage and I also switched back to bonnet cam for the first time in years - definitely added to the experience (although I’ll admit to keeping the driving line on).

Really like how the Stages progress and there are some clever touches in the layouts which caught me out from time to time. Must’ve taken a lot of time, people often tell me they wouldn’t have the patience to create something in the paint booth but I wouldn’t even know where to begin when it comes to the track builder

Thanks Dubh, so glad you enjoyed the rally! Sorry haven’t logged on in a while, been very busy lately, mostly good, with a little bad thrown in to keep me grounded.
Can normally create a track in a day, two tops, whereas a paint, well that’s a month minimum!

For Christmas eve I finished my Riae MacCarthy paint and shared on the Maserati GT.
For Christmas Day I’m auctioning several copies of my Jihyo Park BMW M4 .

Also have to compliment you on the Maserati, absolutely gorgeous!! (would love to have one from the AH if you ever feel like throwing one in there… same goes for your Ichi design - CRs not an issue )

Thanks Dubh, poor C Funk had to redo the “Ji-Em-DoubleYu” tune Christmas Eve as Dread and I were giving him a hard time on his choice of rims. Because Funks a pro, after changing the wheels he put it through the paces and altered settings, making it better knowing I was about to sell 25 copies of it!
I should be able to auction again about 4pm UK time, I’ll send you a message on the ‘box.

He knows I’m the official sheriff when it comes to proper rim opinions pertaining to certain vehicles as we bickered numerous times in the past about that debate….lol! Chuck cracks me up!
