For the Valentine mini comp, since I couldn’t find anything “paradoxically amusing” to make Valentine day fun; I’ve decided to get my hands dirty with the paint program. Since it’s my 1st stab at it, (and in all honesty, I couldn’t paint to save my life) please take it easy on me LOL.
Theme: “Love End Wars” Where a shy Stormtrooper commander expresses his true feeling for Leia LOL- Art by me - Nothing more romantic than a leisure drive through the country side

- Really glad to see the response to the minicomp “BE MINE”, I am somewhat surprised that many of you had to make your own designs, but I must say…BRAVO! Well done guys.

I have been talking with long time DLK member Adelad and asked if had anything new in the works…He said that he had been really busy but would be glad to send me some of his older designs. This month we are featuring several of those designs as prizes in the mini & main comps, designs such as Lego Batman, Crysis 2, Spiderman/Goblin and Harley Quinn/Joker. The last two mentioned are done in a comic strip style that is very unique but difficult to photograph so I asked CHEVY88 for a hand. He took some great pics so I decided to do a SPOTLIGHT shoot that features these two prize car. I took 3 Pics of each (found in the prize car section of the first post) and CHEVY took the rest, so without further ado…SPOTLIGHT Adelad

Well, after a week of debate a winner for 2nd CHANCE has been chosen. The winners have been picked by Mrs. Doodley as she is a long time Bronco fan and originally from Denver. She had a hard time with the choices, just the fact that she had to view anything with a Bronco’s logo on it brought back the pain of the first snap of the game. All in all she loved all the pics and had a difficult time choosing but here goes…

I was really pulling for the Broncos too, having disliked Pete Carroll since his days as Head Cheat at USC.
LIONS!!! WHAT!!! try being a Cleveland browns fan now that’s painfull!
At least you got to see ‘The Drive’ which would have been a highlight for a Lions fan. On the whole though, the Browns match up with us pretty nicely when it comes to performing an exercise in futility.
Congrats to the ‘Be Mine’ winners and thanks for the HM as well as the sweet ‘Hotlap’ Corona car : ) Working on some Main Comp pics but the entries this month are so good they’re discouraging !

It certainly was alot of fun taking pictures with a theme, in my mind everyone is a winner since all the pictures are awesome.

Ha ! That’s me and Uncle Dad on the family cruiser. You can tell we must have just hit on the daily lottery 'cos there’s real TP on there instead of cut up squares of ‘Guns n Ammo’. Don’t kid yourself though, that baby is worth BIG MONEY at the infield of any NASCAR race : ) Not FM4 pics though so I guess I’m gonna have to come up with a couple more. Thanks anyway !
As for helmets, around here they’re only for bad drivers. We almost never crash so we don’t need any wussy seat belts either. Plus, we have ‘first aid’ supplies in the cooler. YeeeeeHaaaaaaaaaw !!!
