Cars added with the Ralph Lauren DLC can be competitive in online racing? I have to choose between this DLC and Mobil 1 car pack but i want to read some feedback.
I’ve found the eBay pack to have the most competitive cars, but there’s 1 or 2 in each that can be useful.
eBay Motors Car Pack
Datsun’s strong at B/600.
Holden’s strong in the lower classes, typically as a speed-focused car.
Lancia’s competitive at R/800 but will get beaten by the 70s Grands Prix and potentially Can-Am cars.
MP4/4’s a leaderboard car at X/999 and if you like to race without assists is easier to drive than the Lotus E23.
Prowler’s capable of doing well in lobbies, typically at C/500 or B/600.
Mobil 1 Car Pack:
Holden VL’s competitive at B/600.
The others I’ve either not driven or not seen any competitive potential in.
Polo Red Car pack:
Skyline has potential in the lower classes.
Opel Kadett also has potential in the lower classes.
Holden’s taken a few Top 10 spots at D/400 speed tracks recently.
Lykan’s a good lobby car, tends to do better on speed tracks.
Formula Mazda’s strong at any S/800 track that doesn’t have many straights.
In my opinion, your order of preference should be as follows if you’re after competitive leaderboard/lobby cars:
eBay Motors >> Polo Red >> Mobil 1
What about Toyota TS040? Faster than R18?
Not sure. All I know is that it’s slower than the 787.
