DLC Disappointment

The DLC is becoming more and more disappointing. The packs are very bottom heavy and contain cars that most would consider boring. A, S and R Class are arguably the most popular but the packs are not filling the gaps. I know it’s not as simple as saying we want this car lets add. Most people would rather race in fast cars. At this point in time the season pass is effectively not worth buying. Although I know we still have some packs to go. It also doesn’t help that we get cars that have been in previous Forza games. I have not spent a lot of time on these forums so I’m unsure of other people opinions on this.

D Class- 22
C Class- 12
B Class- 6
A Class- 6
S Class- 0
R Class- 4
P Class- 3
(Car numbers are not exact)

I’m not sure if you’re aware of the fact that you can do engine swaps on most of the cars, effectively giving you the ability to make any car fit into a # of classes.

The Aplinestars pack looks ok with a good number of fast cars

1999 Toyota #3 Toyota Motorsports GT-ONE TS020
2013 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG
2011 Radical SR8 RX
1969 Ferrari Dino 246 GT
1965 Ford Mustang GT Coupe
1985 Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE
2012 Ultima GTR720
1997 Mitsubishi GTO
1986 Alfa Romeo Spider Quadrifoglio Verde
1981 Volkswagen Scirocco S

This pack isn’t all terrible. After a RWD swap on the Mercedes, it is a ton of fun to drive. The Mustang can get a bigger engine and be a good car. I probably will never touch the Dino, RX-7, Alfa or VW Scirocco though. The Toyota is just another Prototype car that will be fun to tune with. The Radical and Ultima will be great lap time cars. And I have always loved the GTO.

While I would prefer new cars and not cars from past Forza’s, it is nice to see some vehicles returning.

Phillistine!

The gen2 Scirocco was my dream car as a nipper … and the gen3 isnt’t looking too bad

Replace the word most with the word I in the sentence above and your post is perfect.

I like some of the stuff! I can’t wait to paint the…
RX7, Allan Moffat Bathurst Style
Mustang Notchback, Old Trans-Am
VW Scirocco, Another legendary race car
Ferrrari Dino, An awesome car.

Truth be told I would like some of the more prominent cars or better yet cars that were unique to the Forza Franchise.

Turn 10 blew me away with two truly unique cars in FM3 and FM4: The DeTomaso Pantera, a dream car of mine and legendary Gr4 racer and then in FM4 when they brought in the Falcon XB. I can’t think of any truly mainstream games that had either of those. Bring those back not generic cars that everyone has.

OP, what is your favorite class?

You do realize it is much easier to get your hands on and scan cars from a production line than it is to find an old ALMS car or do a one off supercar

In this topic: Someone presumes to speak for a million players.

I’ve seen topics in the past wherein people complained about too many high-end cars and wanting more normal cars.

i find only 1 or two cars from every second dlc release appealing. I’ve spent maybe 5 bucks on dlc for forza 5. I’m very disappointed in it too.

I took the plunge and purchased my first pack mainly for the Toyota and the Dino, I purchased all the cars using game credits immediately after getting the pack and didn’t notice the mail from Turn 10 that they gifted me Toyota #3, so now I have two.

Lesson learned, purchase the packs but wait a bit to pick up the cars…

Also my waiting it gives the tuners time to get thing rights.

It’s no fun driving a car right off the lot
