Here we are with the new forums. I had such a wonderful gallery full of post from folks I hardly see anymore.
Alas those post will be gone but my stuff is still here. This will be my new home for my old stuff and my new stuff.
This OP will focus on my newest items followed by some older stuff in the next few posts. Hope you have fun!
Critiques and comments welcome.
NEW DESIGNS
Heres some stuff I’ve been tinkering around with. The first is a remake of Sketchamus’s Maxim #14. As most of you know Sketchy has sold out for the xBox ONE and can no longer get back to Forza 4. He entrusted his designs to me and a few to Dread and neither one of us could fine this design…so I replicated it.
Also moved some designs from NASCAR to the NationWide Series Cars for a prize or two:
Despicable Me on a Ford Mustang
Cheetara on the Camaro
Old Stuff
After some encouragement from the guys I have done a Valentines Day Special Issue for MAXIM. As I said in December Donna was going on an extended vacation…there was no way of knowing that it was to pursue an alter-ego of Super Hero…DD. Not sure but I think DareDevil is already taken but she is Daring and somewhat of a Devil so it could be…anyway. I have a few at auction now for 250k buyout so enjoy…also will have a few Gothic Fox’s up for auction too…24hrs, no buyout. The Supra has a grip tune by onelapmagic and Gothic Fox is drift tuned by rockstof. I also have a drift tune for the Maxim car on my storefront…it has the same aero and wheels so you can switch between. Thanks and enjoy!
So after several comments on her arms (chicken wing-bingo arm) I took some artistic license and thinned them out a bit. I really think that the artist was trying to show the arm as pressed up against the thigh producing the unflattering thick look. I also added color to her lips, made gothic Capital Letters, put in the necklace and lightened up the shading on the overall design. Oh yeah, and put it on one of my favorite muscle cars the 1970 Challenger. Comments welcome.
As I was saying…Hotlap and I collabed on three Monopoly cars. Naturally Hotlap did the bulk of the work while I did the houses and game pieces. These will be available in the February DLK photocomp but heres a peek:
One of my most well received designs to date has been Donna. I stumbled across this design completely by accident and decided that
I would create it for the Poker Run 3. Well she just took off from there. Here are the renditions of DONNA:
Original Donna for Poker Run 3
Re-Vamped Deadlight Donna:
Then I started doing a few personal renderings…
koiftt’s Ferrari - Tuned by onelapmagic
When I first started it was with Forza 3. There was a Blockbuster going out of business and Forza 3
was one of the games I got at a discount. So I started racing not knowing that this game would change my
xbox life. I soon found the auction house and was an avid seller then I noticed that painted cars went for so
many more credits so I started to paint. Here are some of the first designs that I did.
One of my very first designs:
Scorpion:
I saw a few cop cars and though “I can do that!”, so I did…
Angry Birds Charger
But by far my most popular car at the time was this…SpongeBob. I carried him over to FM4 and soon I had my very first million in credits.
Hey thanks for posting on my new gallery page. You know I’m still down with the Forza 4 it’s been a killer as of late with work.
I know you have sent me a message or two… I will try to get on it ASAP…! Just having a time finding time.
Looks great Dood. Even if the IT guys at T10 think everyone is viewing the forums on their smartwatches. (500 pixel pics? Really?)
Honestly? I can’t say smart-clocks-you-wear-on your wrist without being censored?
Thanks, Cheddar, Dread, NS2, Gears and gdub…appreciate you stopping by for a look-see. I updated the 3rd post with Deadlight Donna and have a collab with Hotlap to post in a bit…heres a little taste:
