Hello I would like to see rivals leaderboards based on car division, and not just by Class type. Being a regular racer in tournaments organized by Fm communities, we usually race with cars based on thei division, limited to the Division restrictions. Please create rivals options by car division.

Hello all,

Dont have a lot to preface this with so ill get right into it. Is there a way that we’d be able to get back the division leaderboards like we had in FM7. Myself and a lot of others used to grind out lap times on the Forza GT divison leaderboards and it proved useful for the longevity and overall competitiveness of the game. Bringing these kinds of leaderboards back to the game would be a great addition.

Why don’t we have a leaderboard for each car division?

I have a feeling it would be very popular for the forza gt cars.

I have seen this floated around so I am making this to try to hammer the point home a little more.

Standard Class Rivals is boring. Each class has a set of 5 cars that are OP and the rest are useless.

I would like to see division boards return as it gives people a chance to competitively use their favourite cars and also cars they have bought with real money (DLC).

This would really help the longevity of the game and keep people playing.

The BOP Forza have created for online would work very well for this too as it is way more balanced than the previous system of PI limits in FM7.

Hope someone at the Forza team sees this!

It was popular because Forza Motorsport 7 took every race lap and put it on a board.

Forza Motorsport only takes times from Rivals directly (because things like track rubber, tyre wear, fuel and slipstream affect laptime in a normal race), so isn’t anywhere near as popular. Division boards would be even less popular than Class boards in this instance.

Maybe that should be two separate suggestion:

  • “Have all race laptimes count towards Rivals”
  • “Have Rivals be set to optimal hotlapping conditions: 1% Fuel, 100% Track Rubber”

With those in place, Division boards could come back (though ideally Homologation should be a feature again too).
