Haven’t seen anyone else mention this yet, so…
When I put a livery on a car (or probably also when changing visual upgrades… or I think even just purchasing), the thumbnail shown in the garage menu becomes distorted. (Aspect ratio is wrong. Car looks squashed horizontally.) The only cars that are not being distorted are prize cars. I’m using a 21x9 monitor.
If anyone else is experiencing this, the workaround is to switch to a 16x9 resolution in the video settings before you do your upgrades / paint change / purchase. If you already have a distorted thumbnail you can fix it by changing something visual on the car while in a 16x9 resolution. You can also have distorted thumbnails in your saved paints. I don’t know any workaround to fix that once it’s happened.
I know it’s a minor thing compared to some of the other bugs right now, but still… Would be nice is this was patched out. Distorted thumbnails look pretty lame and having to remember to change resolution all the time is irritating.
