Disappointed.

After eagerly awaiting for forza 7 to be released, it’s been nothing but abysmal and nothing like I had expected.

It is an unfinished game. It has been rushed without a doubt. I would understand if it was a beta version of the game, but it’s not. There’s so much stuff that isn’t working but it’s just too much to list.
The main problem for me is not being able to play with my friends in a private lobby and not being able to modify my favourite cars.

To think your most loyal customers who have spent a lot of money on the ultimate edition to get a game in the state of this is disgusting. It’s like paying £35 for a poorly made beta. And these problems have been going on since the launch, over 24 hours ago and there’s been no fixes or anything? Not even an update on twitter to say you’re aware of any problems? I spoke with a couple support agents and they didn’t even know what was going on. I thought a company like this would be more prepared for there being problems apon release and to fix them asap.

This will be the last time I purchase a special edition of any forza’s to come. Also going to get a refund on this one. Maybe next time delay the release a couple days to work on these rather than releasing a problematic game. I think many people would rather that.

I loved FM4. Single and multiplayer. I skipped most of FM5 due to the lack of content. I picked it up a couple of months before the release of FM6 in the bargin bin and was glad I skipped it. Multiplayer features were removed and the game still had technical issues 2 years after release.

FM6 was a great step in the right direction. I still didn’t like how you could not use whatever car you wanted, like in FM4, to go through the single player, but multiplayer was where I spend most of my time so I didn’t sweat it. I’ve spent a ton of time in S class mulltiplayer.

With FM7, to grind 3 hours to get one of my favorite cars, then find no multiplayer lobby to where I could run it was a bridge too far for me. I decided it was time to speak up and return it.

There are aspects to the game I think are okay, but to me the game is fundamentally broke at it’s core when you can’t take an '09 ZR1 and run it in a multiplayer lobby.

Seriously? The game has barely been out for 1 day, and only to those that have ultimate edition. You really expect to find a lobby?

Dang right…and I’m fairly certain there will be more following in my footsteps come Tuesday if something does not change in a hurry. As an FYI, I was one of those who laid down $100 for the Ultimate Edition.

Well, dude; not everyone paid a hundred dollars for it so at least wait for the official scheduled release date. I am having a blast playing single player and this game with the right hardware is with out a doubt one of the best circuit pc racers ever and yes I did buy PC2 and while good; the lobbies in that are even worse!

To your point, if they fix the multiplayer issues, I’ll pickup standard edition, but not until they sort out the multiplayer. That is the sole reason I got the game…and to find that they gutted the core of what multiplayer has always been without so much as a heads up to us and the mainstream video gaming media is nothing short of underhanded…and even called it Ultimate Edition. They gave me my $100 back, so I have to give Microsoft props for customer service in that respect.

I think the single player is fine except for maybe the AI being glued to the ground at times.

However, it’s just not why I play the game. I play for the challenge of racing real human opponents, in a car of my choosing, tuned by myself, in the supercar(S) class…which is no longer present.

I have other serious reservations with the game(on a graphical and UI interface level), but the multiplayer being gutted in early access was not worth my $100.

played less than 2 hours? Get your money back and carry on…simple solution

Name any game released with bugs now… You will be hardpressed. But what you list arent even bugs. Its the way they intended it. I guarantee you purchase the next forza as well. Come on ,yeah its been a whole 24 hours with no fix and this world is all about you and your problems. Things arent fixed that quick my little child. Grow up
Seems like a trolling post.

Classy.

I think the point is that we should expect a polished game at launch, we absolutely should, would you be happy if you paid for a movie and it crashed while attempting to watch it, or the backgrounds didn’t show up, or the actors jerked around at 8fps every now and again? On the promise it’ll be fixed later, when you just spent £80 on it.

It shouldn’t be the norm, it never used to be, publishers crush their devs and rush out unfinished products all the time now because the thought of delaying the money is incomprehensible to them, it shouldn’t be looked on favourably and it should be called out when it happens. Just because it’s normal doesn’t mean it’s right. Especially in the case of T10 who have been one of the most consistently brilliant devs in gaming since they started.

I’m loving the game atm but it is silly to say it is without faults when it clearly needs a good few months of patching. This is in relation to it’s PC release, I can’t say where the guys are at in Xbox Land, I assume a more polished place than us.

Perhaps a full sized racing game of Forza’s scope every two years on two platforms has caught up to T10, maybe it’s the last minute addition of the Xbox One X version, maybe they’ve been on crunch time so long they forgot what a family was and their work suffered. You can set your watch by T10 and Forza Motorsport’s releases, you used to able to guarantee quality with that logo too but Horizon 3 and this launch on PC have been pretty ropey.

It’s good that they will get fixed, that does not mean it’s ok that they released the way they have. That being said, it’s not all doom and gloom, we know the game is excellent when it works properly so every cloud, we’d just like a nice polished launch next time and staying silent won’t help T10 convince Microsoft they need more of whatever they need.

That’s what these forums are for, for us to help T10 understand us and for them to help us understand them.

So they intended for us not to be able to make private lobbys even tho the option is there? We aren’t supposed to see what body upgrades we do to our cars? They intended the game the game to freeze while playing it? How can you say they aren’t bugs? I’ve seen plenty of game companies react better to bugs than this. As far as I can see, they haven’t even acknowledged their game is broken. Open your eyes. For £80 I expect the game to be finished. Not some overpriced beta.

On top of everything else, you can’t even go into Rivals and set times on any track you want. Definitely isn’t worth 100 bucks so far. Isnt worth sixty with this crap
