Dirt racing in demo

Hi guys/gals.

So i played the demo yesterday and im finding the dirt racing really hard, I play with the trustmaster steering wheel in bumper view, my steering wheel is set to 270 degrees and in game. Has anyone got any tips for me whether it be steering wheel settings or just general dirt racing tips. Thanks

But seriously… it takes a little getting used to and lots of practice to get to learn the sliding and drifting through dirt/grass/fields/vineyards/etc… Depending on the type of ground you’re on will affect how you have to put in your steering inputs and, especially on grass, braking won’t always help as much as just letting off the gas.

My best advice is to take the cars out in the fields and start slow to get a feeling on how the car behaves and gradually increase your speed. The 270 degree steering would be best IMO since you have to move the wheel smaller distances. You’re going to have more inputs on the dirt/grass to react to what curveballs the terrain throws at you.

Just like in real life, you can also use the throttle to help point your car in the right direction. Driving on dirt, snow, wet roads requires more work! Enjoy I am having a blast.

I am finding it difficult on my TX too.
The car seems to snake then spins out.

I tied the same track a few times and did even worse.
My wheel is set to 540 I think.
The game is still amazing though, I enjoy the challenge
