Developers wanted !

Rumor has it that Codemasters will not be renewing the license to develop F1 2017 and in the Codemasters forums T10 has been mentioned as a possible pick if interested. I don’t know if picking up that license entails developing also for PS4, but what about it? Should T10 get involved in the development of Formula One’s premier game? What do you folks think?

I personally think NO WAY. As it is now they cannot keep up with things they should be doing to the games they are involved with. Why would you like to see them add more?

Microsoft is a behemoth company that could take on just about any software project IMO and adding the T10 touch to a base of code that’s in need of some serious TLC massaging will be good for the franchise known worldwide as the best racing game period! Codemasters have done a great job with F1 2016, but T10 could do a lot better with Dan Greenawalt expertise on tap.

there is no way they would be doing just a console port and would have to also go PC and PS4. Turn 10 is not going to do a PS4 game and have you taken a look at the PC mess that is Horizon 3? I have been around since Forza 2 and ALL I have seen this company do is continually shoot themselves in the foot. The always over-hype things and then under-deliver on what they finally get around to doing, community wise. They are already making a mess of things with what they have. Why give them another sandbox to kitty-crap in.

Considering Turn 10 is owned by Microsoft, I highly doubt they would be allowed to develop the official F1 game.

Turn 10 only develops games for Xbox and Windows 10. I’m sure that F1 would only be developed by a studio that had equal interest in developing on PS4 and PC as well as Windows 10 and Xbox.
