I get to the start screen and press start. It loads the Xbox/windows 10 login screen then just returns me to the start screen??

click right mouse button on start menu , “RUN” , type “services.msc” … scroll down the list and make sure that all the “Xbox” services are enabled.
I’m having the same issue and this did not fix it.
Got mine working by following the advice in this thread, post #10. Basically, you have to delete your xbox app and all related apps, then reinstall them. Something about the identifier app messes up or something, apparently. I didn’t have to do the second part of the fix because just deleting and reinstalling worked for me.
Yeah this game is very sensitive with all that “Xbox” stuff, the services, registry, apps, files. If 1 thing of Xbox is wrong in Windows 10, Forza 7 will not work properly.
