When picking the Focus RS, the girl tells me the Focus RS may be the best hot hatch on the planet. Lol. I like it, but do they even know anything about the FK8 Type R? That car (which I own) has been beating the Focus many times already. I love the Focus, but come on. Lol.

Man, I thought the FK2 was ugly… at least it had the decency to resemble a proper hatchback instead of trying hard to look like a sedan.
I don’t like that it doesn’t exactly look like most hatchbacks, but the look of the car grows on you. Well, at least it did to a lot of us who own one. But this is about the RS being the “best hot hatch on the planet” comment the chick said when picking the car. Should have saved that line for the FK8 maybe…if they bring it to this game.

I knew someone would assume that. Lol. Truth is, I’ve had this name for decades, and it also isn’t all I own. I am not being biased actually. If anyone knew what the FK8 has been doing, they’d know how great of a track car it is
I mean, look at all these articles choosing the FK8 as their number 1 pick
She also said that the TT was her car of choice… you could even hope for a date if you chose the Charger… she must say something nice anyway you chose. If I could chose any starter car it would be a Civic… or the Fiesta M-sport.

I’m sure they chose her to say something nice no matter what you choose. I guess it is just what was chosen to be said. The FK8 has been outperforming the RS, as well as articles picking the FK8 over it, and other hatches in its class 
I’m sorry but the FK8 Type R is one hell of an ugly car. Sounds like a ricer. Looks like a ricer and even has fake air vents oh my… The Focus on the other hand is more subtle, looks nicer, sounds nicer, has AWD which makes it very adaptable in most conditions. It has the same 1/4 mile as the Ford Mustang GT V8. Has a bigger fuel tank. About the same economy. Sure the Civic is faster on a track, but it’s a bit tasteless imo.

Sounds quiet actually. And this is a racing game afterall, so having a good track car makes sense in my opinion. A lot of what you said is just opinion though Driving the car can change many peoples minds, as it already has. I have seen in the owners group I am in, many converted over from their new STi to a Type R, and do not regret it at all. AWD is cool, but this car handles amazingly well.
Seems all my post is becoming is some typical Honda trash talking now. Lol. Lame…
I like Honda and I like FWD but I don’t like the Civic. The base model Civic looks far nicer than the Type R for me. I’m not a massive STI fan either and bare in mind also that the Focus RS isn’t my favorite hatch as well. Personally cars like the Mercedes A45, Hyundai Veloster N or i30 N, maybe even a John Cooper Works Mini. Or if I were to go smaller, the the Fiesta ST, Renault Clio RS or Suzuki Swift.
There is only one best hot hatch on the planet and neither the Type R or the Focus RS are it.

Soooooooo many others cars that can be considered uglier than this car, yet people are too ignorant and just hate just for the sake of hating on it. But opinions are just that…opinions.
And again, this wasn’t a thread being made to bash any car. Just the dialogue saying something that is pretty much false
2 things. First off they didn’t say “best hot hatch on the planet”, I think they actually said, “may well be one of the hottest hatches on the planet right now”. Don’t quote me on that, could be wrong but if that was said, that’s not false at all. It is ONE of the hottest hatches right now, may not be the hottest but still.
Secondly, when you have a Gamertag like that, own the car yourself, point out how good it is though it’s extremely diversive and controversial and are complaining about perhaps the smallest, most inconsequential part of the game, what do you expect the thread to deform to?

Which I put in my post “may be”. But still, with all the accomplishments the FK8 has made, you would think thay might consider another line.
Also, who cares about my gamertag. How about the fact that I also own a Ford? 10 years from now in my mid 40’s…guess what? I will still have this name, even if I owned a Ferrari.
No matter what, the thread doesn’t need to become a car bashing thread. Any REAL car guy would just appreciate any car. Seems everyone here is a child or ignorant
