I am playing the PC demo of Forza Horizon 4 and i cant set up the pedals. I am using a Fanatec V2.5 with Formula rim.
Telemetry shows that there is a 10% throttle and brake constantly applied when the pedals are in their neutral position. When i push the pedals fully, telemetry shows only an 88% application. Therefore I have tried adjusting the deadzones but no matter how much i adjust them it doesn’t change anything. The 10% and 88% stay the same.
Its like the deadzone sliders arent working?
I would really like to purchase the game when it releases but i just want to be confident i can get the pedals to work before i make the purchase.
Ive now realized that actually i can only pull away with full revs in 2nd gear… This is to do with the clutch being at 100%.
But i am playing in manual mode, (without clutch) and i don’t even have a button mapped to the clutch, so how am i supposed to release it? Shouldn’t it behave like any other game with a ‘sequential’ mode that basically gives you full control over the gears without ever needing to assign a clutch?
If i use the xbox controller the clutch just disengages automatically when i apply about 2500 rpm and the car pulls away nicely. So why wont it do this when using the steering wheel??
