NOTE: I took it upon myself to go back and correct the previous championships’ points using the standard point system CARWARS AutoDuelists uses today.

Every Thurday evening at 7:00pm eastern standard time, the CARWARS AutoDuelists club hosts a weekly multi-race championship spanning 3-6 races per night. All races have a “roleplaying” like theme.
While the final position point system remains the same, each week may have different penalties which are discussed before each race. This championship is ran by myself, club leader RandyTessier, using an Excel spreadsheet to keep track of all league decisions and championship points using the standard CARWARS 10 point system; 1st +10 points, 2nd +9, 3rd +8, 4&5 +7, 6&7 +6, 8&9&10 +5, etc. Qualifying for each race is not mandatory, but is worth additional points. CARWARS AutoDuelists ~ Thursday Night Sprints 2019
Series One - D400 “Around the World in 60’s Days”

This is a long sprint based championship consisting of six fast short races (5 laps or less) each week. You must choose any 1960-1969 car you own and get it to D400 with the only restriction being that it needs a full racing roll cage and cannot have tinted windows. If you are not happy with your current car, you can swap it for another car once for free. Each subsequent car swap will cost you 4 championship points to be subtracted from your total before the next weeks races. Should your new car not be up to par you can swap again with a new car and minus 4 more points OR you can go back to your previous car costing you only 2 championship points. To go around the world, we are visiting every location in the game and will be racing a random track determined each week with five days notice to practice.

CARWARS AutoDuelists ~ Thursday Night Sprints 2019
Series Two - C500 “Fast Backs and Hatch Attacks!”

For the second series in 2019 we take our favourite fastback coupes and hatchbacks, get them to C500 with full racing roll cages. For this event ‘fastbacks’ are coupe and sedan cars with a rear window and boot rake of 15 to 45 degrees while ‘hatchbacks’ are any 2 or 4 door cars where the rear window and door/boot are one piece and raked at 45 to 90 degrees and hinged at the roofline. Again we visit each location and tackle a random track. Car swapping penalties still apply, but reset to zero swaps for this event.

Series Three - B600 “Mid Engine Mayhem!”

Series three consists of 5 smaller 60 minute endurance races. Take your favourite mid-engined car and get it to B600 with a full racing roll cage and no tinted windows. Each player chooses their favourite venue from the previous two series. Standard league penalties apply.

Series Four - E300 “Truckin’ & Tailgatin’!”

Series four consisted of 12 15 minute sprints in Forza’s small array of pick-up trucks. These trucks had to have a separate cargo bin in the back, that is no solid body pick-up cars and no SUVs. Building and tuning was limited to E300 with full racing roll cages and no tinted windows. Standard league penalties apply.
