When a rollcage is fitted to a car, we should be able to paint them and also add protective padding. Ideally, both the cage and the padding should be painted separately.

They need to be paintable, as a minimum.
Take the M4 GTS, looks odd having an orange cage with every livery and looks odd

M4 has a fantastic looking roll cage, new M3 gets added, back to the ugly chrome cage 
This would also be good for Forza Motorsport.
