Cross-platform play?

Hey, I own FH3 for both PC and XB1 and I heard about cross-platform play being introduced but I can’t seem to find anywhere that lists specific scenarios.

I’m wondering if free-roam will be cross-platform considering it’s not classed as a competitive game mode.

Cross platform is automatic unless someone changes it in their options

All online modes in Forza Horizon 3 are cross-play by default unless you change them in your options.
