I am currently on Windows 1709 OS Build 16299.15
This is a build that is higher than the recommended on the Store page, and yet the game crashes on startup every single time. I have been told to update to 1803, but that is not an option for me. I am a semi-pro Rocket League player and 1803 causes massive stuttering and frame drops in-game. Every single pro/high level RL player has rolled back and not a single one is on 1803.
Please help me understand if this is an issue that will not be fixed, as I never once got to play the demo due to the same crashing issue.
Edit: after updating to 1803 and reinstalling drivers the game launches, but there is no game sound. The intro video has sound, but the menu and actual in-game part has none. Reverted back to 1709, since the game is just broken and it wasn’t worth the stuttering I had in RL. There needs to be a way to play this game without being on the absolute newest update, especially considering the store page says I should be able to.
