Over the past few weeks I’ve noticed a few trends. I tend to race a lot of free play and typically do 30 min to 1 hour long races most of the time with simulation damage so requiring a pit or two. I typically race with Unbeatable drivatar on the tracks I am very familiar with, sometimes Pro on the tracks I am not so fluid on. .
What I feel like I see happening is that the AI/drivatars will be fast for 10-15 miles after a pit stop and then start to fall off their pace. However, I feel like my car gets better the longer I am out. In the R class vette, viper, etc I usually get the tires to about 20-30% worn prior to having to pit and its usually the last 5-10 miles before pitting that my car feels the best! With the lower class cars I don’t think I ever get beyond 10-15% worn before having to pit but again these are always my fastest laps. I can’t confirm my suspicions regarding the AI lap times, but I know many times I have come out of the pits with the AI and struggle to keep pace for a bit, then all of a sudden blow their doors off right before pitting again. Anyone else notice this with the AI? Too bad the race results can’t log all the lap times throughout the race! Oh well, at least I can see race results at the end of the race in this game…
Does anyone else feel like the car is getting better the longer you’re out?

EDIT: The other thing I was going to add is that I am somewhere around level 100 and I haven’t gotten a middle “grand prize” on the spins since like level 50 maybe? And as of late I don’t think I’ve gotten better than a $50,000 prize. Doesn’t really matter since money is easy to come by in the game, but it doesn’t seem so random…lol.
Whatever level they award the GT40 I won it, which when it was bouncing around I couldn’t believe my luck because I had JUST BOUGHT THAT CAR! But I was pleasantly surprised that it instead awarded me the purchase price credits automatically since it was already in my garage! Nice!
