Controllers or Wheels?

Does anyone know how many of the top listed drivers on the circuit leader boards use controllers or wheels? I mean, like out of the top 100 or top 10.

i dunno but im quite a bit faster with my pad over my wheel. i have a few top 100’s

Just got the wheel and have put in a bunch of top 100 times in x class with it…much more fun and immersive

However, most of my friends that are in the top 10 use the pad.

If you took every top 10 in the game it would be a decimal then a number for wheel users.

Out of the top 100 I’d say a bit more, 10/100 or so. If a better wheel option comes that may change but never drastically.

I can set top 100s with my wheel without issue if I’m running scoreboard cars. Not sure where controller became faster than the wheel but what it really boils down to is how many wheels are out there. Hard to do a comparison when not everyone wants to drop $400 on a wheel so I’m sure there’s more controller times in the top 100.

Im a top 100 guy S class and use the controller

I got some top 150 times in C Class and I use a wheel only. Haven’t used a controller on Forza since Forza 1. IMHO, a controller doesn’t do a game like Forza any justice. The Thrustmaster TX is a fantastic wheel. I don’t care about a clutch, I’m fine with paddle shifters (after all it is based on a paddle shift car).

i use the controller.

Since Basher boards released their Fanatec to TX adapter on Friday. We may see a difference in those wheel users that can use Fanatec CS pedals. Braking should be much more consistent. I’ll let you know, I should get my adapter sometime next week. Then I have to learn to race all over again because braking will be so different.
