Looks great but it all comes down to the physics.
It seems to have everything that Forza lacks … I really hope the physics is good enough, I actually look more forward to this game than I did with F5.
I have high hopes for this game, it does look great.
So long as the physics are good then I’m all happy, it will be nice to have a decent alternative to Forza that is racing based, not another arcade racefest. I’m sure they’ll be many features we see in PC that would be nice to have in Forza, and likewise I’m sure it’ll be lacking in some areas.
Get ready for the usual bashing of it though from other Forza players, usually a certain few pop up and have a dig every time the game is mentioned. I’ll reserve judgement until I’ve played it myself and I don’t expect perfection considering it’s the first in the series.
Wow! Awesome trailer! I agree that competition is good and I think someone is finally going to challenge T10 in the area of sim racing. It’ll be interesting to see how well it performs in terms of gameplay/physics, but right now from what I’ve seen out of the game, it looks very promising and could very well take the top spot for racing games this year.
Also people are more likely to buy a xbox one and a wheel if they are only into racing, having two great games!
Lets hope it doesnt have Shift 2 physics cos then it’ll be ruined lol
It does have NFS Shift physics, its actually using the same engine as the NFS Shift games. Its a very pretty game, I have it on my steam list right now, but the handling is god awful! (controller or racing wheel) I much prefer Assetto Corsa over Pcars, but then I also prefer I racing, Race room experience, and a ton of other racing games over Pcars handling physics. Its still in development though, so hopefully they will get the handling to a place where the physics are much improved.
Edit: I just want to make it 100% clear that it is only the handling physics of Pcars that I dont like at this time, everything else I think is pretty awesome; and I hope Pcars does well. I just hope they improve the physics soon.
