Community painting?

Hi!
Just thought about a new idea :slight_smile:

I like to paint for and with the community, maybe you know some of my old community Projects? So we have a new very cool app on xbox one called twitch. It is very cool to watch the painters what awesome paintjobs they can create in the paint Editor. It is just a cool Feeling to see the live Progress. I thought wouldn´t it be cool to involve the community or watchers more than just watching?

Maybe watchers can say in the live Chat what car, or what shapes or colours we should use. and painters can do with their own experiences the rest that fits to the paints, like shadows or size or something else. I think that could be an interessting experience. for sure it is not possible to create in a short time a realistic face or something like that, but that could be a Freestyle Project with triblas or racing style cars.

What are you thinking about this idea? Could it makes painting more interessting for watchers?

I like where you’re going with the idea, and I actually have made a couple tweaks here and there on cars based on viewer feedback during a stream, but I’d be worried about it going “too far.”
While interacting with the viewers is great fun, if you let them decide stuff down to the shapes and colors you use it could become pretty messy when not everyone agrees, and you’ve basically put yourself at the mercy of differing opinions. I think the best idea would be having a set “goal” for the car from the beginning such as “This will be a _______ car” (insert fantasy, race, cartoon, drift, etc.) and have a theme ready to go. Then you can narrow down more (such as “choose from these 3 cars”) rather than letting the viewers choose everything. That would cut down on a lot of creative issues without having anyone feel left out. Just a thought though, I’d love to hear some other experiences/opinions about it.

I was thinking of doint something like this but have the viewers paint with you… so they create something similar to what the host is doing… naming all te positions and colour etc… also not for anything complicated… but I think this could be a ‘thing’ :slight_smile:

Yeah sort of like twitch plays pokemon, sounds Interesting, I also have made changes to my original ideas during live streams also let my viewers choose the car. it would be interesting to take it further and see what happens
