Reason I bring this forward is I hope no good S2 summers werent tried because the rules of the contest for each season had:
- Season
- Surface type
- Performance class
This in addition to the time and distance requirements.
Three is the key part. To be a valid entry, it had to be S2 on asphalt. No other summer performance index was valid. Top of S2, 998 vs a 901 say for testing was important to ensure top of that PI could do it enjoyably while still fitting a good time to completion.
It was the first time for a route contest and loads of fun, but again, just pointing out to ensure that tracks werent skipped solely because were S2.
