Totally agree with you here…I am not overly bothered about getting achievements (unless it’s for Game Pass Quests or whatever) but it’s nice to see them pop when you have worked hard towards them. Some games I look at the achievements and think “I can’t do that one ever” (am thinking of the Halo Masterchief Collection where there’s one for completing every LASO playlist and I doubt I’d complete one mission let alone all 6 games!) but I applaud those who do manage to do them
I won it in like my 5th game. It’s not that hard tbh. You also need to get a bit lucky.
Proving both that luck has a bit to do with it (took me 50+ games in FH4) and that it’s not worth complaining about the achievement until you’ve had a go…
Got the win on my first try in FH5 (my next three I’ve either been eliminated or stupidly caught outside the arena).
Considering from the rounds I’ve played, getting challenged by invisible players and not seeing them on the map during the race, I’d say achievements like this may be impossible until they fix Eliminator.
It’s not impossible. Difficult, yes, but not impossible.
I’ve won 6 matches, one of which was without encountering or challenging a single other player during the whole match. When the eliminator is fixed, the achievement will still be difficult to obtain, and should remain so. Asking for the requirements to be reduced like the OP is because he isn’t skilled or patient enough is ridiculous.
Wait until they fix the servers to eliminate invisible players. Right now I’m only losing because I am hiding out and get challenged by someone I can’t see.
But I’ve won 2 games of Elim in FH5 already, take the advice above and keep at it. The most important part is making the final showdown, making a judgment call on where the finale will be, and gunning it right as the countdown starts. Use the highway if you can, this will give you an advantage over people who attempt to run through trees and hit them. Be thankful we don’t have to win without car drops like FH4 because that TRULY was a nightmare.
