Hi… I changed my gamertag from: Illest Hawaii to Stanced EJ9 earlier today and then I went on Forza Horizon 2. I noticed it said my gamertag was banned from online servers/this feature which I thought was extremely odd because I was playing Forza Horizon 2 online earlier before I changed my gamertag… Could you please give me a reason on why I was banned because I don’t think i’ve done anything to be banned online. if the person who had the account with the gamertag before that i changed it to was banned on Forza Horizon 2 servers, could you please fix this issue. Thank you.
You need to send the developers an email at forzafb@microsoft.com, including any and all gamertags used on your console. A switch of gamertags (just the name replacing the previous one) should not trigger a ban.
Xbox Live itself reserves changed or abandoned gamertags for about six months to a year before allowing them back into circulation, so that would not be the cause.
