Championship series no points awarded, no racing series?

Hi,
I might be missing something, but what´s the point of doing Championship series of let´s say 8 races if there is no championship? I´m still in the beginning of my career but I thought that previous races in an championship would carry over until the end of the series.

I see no difference between the bonus races and the championship, Will there be real championships later on in the career mode?
In earlier Forza games you had kind of championships where you where awarded points…

Only thing I´m missing in an otherwise fantastic game.

All the Championships work the same way.

Yeah, I kinda wish there was a point system linking the races together as a proper championship but honestly it’s just a to-do list.

Still why not give us the chance to create our own championships with points and so on, make it a RACING game!?

Hmm. Probably have to set up a private lobby to do that. I remember there was an option to do something to where you set up a series of any tracks. Can’t remember if it gave you an ending lobby point total at the end. It’s been so long since I’ve done that.
