This is pretty easy, but still a chance to flex your tuning muscles on that old reliable Nissan product that’s up on blocks in your back yard.
You will need to travel to the state of New Hampshire in the USA. You’ll arrive at Maple Valley (good luck finding that on Google) and run laps on the full course in the normal direction . Your car will be in A Class, with no other restrictions. To follow the theme of club racers with limited budgets, you might confine yourself to cars which left the factory at least ten years ago, but I’m not making that mandatory.
Target time -for a clean lap- is a pretty tame 1:50.600, set by yours truly (beat it to win a prize car).
Feel free to post photos and replays. It helps me if you send me a replay and note which was your record lap. If it was a personal best, and I can see that on the leaderboard, then a replay is optional, but I think they add to the fun, and good photos are definitely enjoyed by many of your fellow gamers. It’s a big help if you make the replay title “Nissan Club NH”
this event seems to have been tried by all who are interested, so it’s closed effective 10 June.
Another cool Challenge ;] Didn’t have a paint “just right” for this one so I hit the google and searched images - 'Vintage Datsun race cars" - found this period perfect, ‘weekend racer’ beauty ;] Pretty fun little tune ;]
I hope everyone is enjoying these little challenges. Expect a new 777 Class challenge (or a racing session with 777 cars) about once a month, with some other attractions like multi-class races(!) and single marque events to keep you guys from getting lazy.
Everyone should take a look at IROCZ’s replay because the entire Nissan Club of New Hampshire is buzzing about almost losing their precious covered bridge.
One guy was asking why we brought all these right-hand-drive cars, but he’s the type who always pronounces “Porsche” as a one-syllable word. Actually, when he says it, it sounds like “Posh.”
Congrats to Wan Ge also. Both these guys are about to receive very nice prizes.
Brush up on your Spanish because we’re going to Montserrat in June.
I found a rusted out Datsun 510 and gave it the business:

I managed 1:41.479 on the sixth lap of the replay posted in my storefront. I knew it wouldn’t be the quickest, but I just wanted to have a little fun
I’ll post the tune as well, honestly though, I can’t recommend it
