I was doing freeplay on the Alps stadtplatz with my Maserati GT-S for 30 laps.
With the drivatars on Unbeatable one of them managed to set a 1.15.647 best lap in a stock PI Alfa 8C
The top leaderboard time is 1.29.408!
Whats going on here. That’s a HUGE gap.
Does this mean there’s some form of Catch-up or did that drivatar have ultimate skill for one lap?
I assume you are looking at lap-times on the Race Results screen?
When you finish the race, the Drivatars do NOT continue to race. Frequently, what gets registered as a “fastest lap” is the Current Lap Time wherever the Drivatar happens to be on the Current Lap (or, it’s registering the last Split-Time - I never bothered to find out for sure).
You can easily confirm this, the next time it happens. Save the replay of the race, grab a stop-watch, and follow the Drivatar around manually timing each lap.
