In FM7 they were able to ban SUVs and open wheelers (which included a sizeable portion of DLC cars funnily enough), so I guess the “ability” is there.
If T10 would start to ban the open wheelers (as in FM7) they should instantly ban the new Chevron as well. The moment I saw its stats I knew it’ll be absolutely overpowered. Why on earth does this thing have modern Supercar levels of grip? Combined with low weight and no drag racing against this thing is completely pointless.
It murders the B hopper right now. They should nerf its grip level by a huge margin.
Funny thing is, after coming from XB1 Forza’s and the 963, the car feels normal stock. Then you drive something else in it’s class and are reminded that this isn’t FM5-7 anymore.
The 550 is definitely a loopy car to drive (my club did tonight in E) yet it’s absurdly quick.
I genuinely think it’s broken, and if somebody makes a detailed Troubleshooting Hub post regarding the tuning exploit I’ll vote on it.

The porsche 550 is broken, and needs to be removed, and all 550 times from the boards needs to be removed.
It started with the brands hatch update.
It effects cars that already had an issue, when you lowered them, it would add toe to the rear wheels. (This was discovered on forza motorsport 7, seems like a few items are not built from the ground up, lol)
When they added brands hatch, they also did a change to grip levels, and by doing so, created this issue.
Im going to say how its done, as lower class lobbies are now wrecked, so it cant really make anything worse.
So lower the front to minimum, and raise the rear to maximum. This activates the “glitch”
The greater the distance between the front and rear height, the bigger the speed increase will be, per click.
So, maxing the offset, anti squat, will give you a few km/h in top speed, for each one you max out.
Rear springs, the lower you go the more top speed you will get.
Rear camber, will increase top speed to a point.
And rear toe, -0.8 is around the point, each click can increase top speed by a few kms/h.
Basically, your rear wheels are running at a 45 degree angle, and it makes you faster, and tire wear doesnt seem to effect it either.
The porsche speedster, gordini, datsun 510 (only slight increase) and a few others are all in the same boat, and can be glitched. But none of these cars were in the top 3 or 4 fastest cars in the lower classes, like the 550 is.
After a few people shared the glitch version, it totally wrecked online lobbies.
I had one yesterday, there were 9 550’s, against me in the cosmo, and every one that i got close to tried to wreck me. Seems like every exocet driver has a porsche 550.
it has totally wrecked online lobbies in the lower classes, letting low driver skill people lap a few seconds faster that the most experienced can do, and this also turns the lobby into a crash fest, with the lower skilled guys wrecking anyone they overtake, as theres no chance of catching back up to them, if they are in the porsche.

Bump. Theres no escaping them this week in the E D C multiclass lobby, mostly p550’s on pole in every class.
would be nice to get some kind of answer on this issue.
really thought something would be done, to fix the problem, as its wrecked E class online, and made a mess of the leaderboards up to C class.
not only that, but lobbies have become dirtier, because now unskilled and weekend warriors who only play, to wreck people, now have a car that can match times of experienced drivers, with out having the skill needed.
last race i had in E class, i was overtaken by 5 porsche 550’s and all of them tried to wreck me..
with this issue, and the save file problem, it really shows that nothing has changed, all the talk of community, yet , not even a response about the issues, issues that will stop people playing your game..
It’s one tune in particular that’s totally broken it’s the emw Dave tune a glitched tune on a meta car this tune needs removing from the game, I’m ok with meta cars but combined with a glitched tune is just plain cheating.
To all you guys running this car with this tune, is not using a meta car enough for you that you now have to combine it with a busted glitched meta tune to flatter you ego’s by using a glitched tune to win? i have no issues with people using meta cars as they have always been a thing and no doubt they always will be.
However the way you guys drive using these things is just dirty as they are so slow off the line you all drop loads of places at race start only to barge and force you way to the front without any care or consideration for other users.
And yes some could say use the tune yourself, but i will not GLITCH to WIN, and no before anyone says it, it is not a skill issue, i have tested this tune against the other top rated tunes on the test track and its easily 2 seconds quicker than anything else out there, even my own tune which i have run hundreds of laps perfecting is a good second slower, going forward any lobby i go into from here on in i will note who’s using this tune back out and block the lot of you. shameless! your wins are meaningless.
I did some quick rivals in these glitched tunes… It’s just broken, I tried to make normal tune for p550, and even tho o have same power and no Forza aero, I was slower on straights than with Dave tune.
There’s also glitched tune for 300sl in e class (Daytona oval), glitched tune have top speed higher by ~40 km/h compared to normal tune with same power and no aero…
It’s the same bug we got in horizon games… It probably will never be fixed.
Same results I have found it’s just way faster than it has any right to be, having the same discussion over on Reddit but there it is apparently just cope and lack of ability on my part, guess they use this setup and enjoy earning meaningless wins.
Well average open lobby is full of meta cars… Yet they still lose to faster players in shi77y cars ![]()
They need to compensate thier lack of skill by using meta cars.

Would like to see these unrealistic tuning settings get fixed. At a minimum they could rebalance the PI and ratings of the 550.
Aside from these unrealistic settings explained based on the Porsche 550, they need to fix the large rim issue (rubber band tires) that has plagued this game and many previous iterations.

Would be nice to see an FM update address vehicle physics at some point instead of some of the lesser value bugs and QOL items.
