I did my best to search for a similar topic having been posted, but couldn’t find one. So, if there is another thread about this then I must have missed it, my bad.

Really, I’m just curious about what kind of cars everyone has in real life.

Personally, I’m the proud owner of a lightly modded JDM 1992 Toyota SW20 MR2 Turbo. It has an Apex’i power intake, an exhaust (installed before I got it, no idea on specs), blow off valve (again, installed before I got it, brand/model not obvious), a set of 17" Work RS-Z wheels, GReddy GRacer aero front lip and side skirts (replacing front lip presently, however), and only about 57,000 miles on the car.

Last August I was a passenger in a pretty serious car accident, breaking my leg in 3 places and giving me a serious concussion (also nearly impaling my head). Ended up with a metal rod in both my tibia and femur and screws in my hip. I got my settlement in January and, since I highly doubt I’d get another chance like this, I decided on getting a dream car. I absolutely love this damn thing. The turbo and BOV are literally only about 18 inches from your head and they are VERY loud when driving. I’m used to driving around in pretty ratty, old POS beaters so I’m still getting used to having a car that people chase down to get a look at.

Future mods include Tein flex coilovers, front and rear TRD strut tower braces, Apex’i SAFC (or similar piggyback fuel/boost controller), possibly a manual boost controller until I get the SAFC, EBC brake pads/slotted rotors, GReddy GRacer rear diffuser/under spoiler (possibly wing as well), Kouki tail lights, oil pressure/boost/AFR gauges in a pillar pod… Maybe others…

I have 3 cars. I have a Fiesta that is pretty much scrap now…which is a shame but my other 2 cars aren’t bad. The Volvo is a lovely comfortable daily. The MX-5 is mainly a track car. It has an MOT and all but it’s not great on the public highways. I also have a set of racing slicks for it and it has a roll cage. Anyway, here’s some pics:

I’m 21 and I’ve been driving for just over 2 years. I’ve owned 3 cars in this time and never crashed once. My first car was a blue 1.6 Twinport club Astra h, it was basic and very simple. A year later later I wanted something sportier so I looked at 1.8 Sri astras, I ended up buying a an astra vxr at the age of 20 and I was blinded by the car as a whole that I couldn’t see how much of a tip it was, I just wanted it, it was a dream to own one. So this vxr had ids+ suspension and AFL, it looked the bollocks and it got plenty of attention. However it was primarily a shed, I kept it clean inside and out, I looked after it but it clearly hadn’t had the same treatment before, 2 weeks into owning it the turbo went, I discovered my tracking was way off because I had a bent shocker and I had an abs light on, my headlights were about as useful as the torch on most mid range smartphones and I had no number plate lights. I done everything right, I bought all genuine parts and cared for it like it was a wild animal. It got to the point where I had to sell it and now I drive a 1.9cdti 150bhp astra Sri with the hopes of getting a Peugeot 308 GTI 270 edition at the end of the year.
