My xbox one crapped out. had to get a new one. Car pass installs but all cars a regularly priced for the most recent 10 cars. Wont let me install them without buying them. says 2.99 instead of just install like it used to. Microsoft said the license is not transferring.
Any help?
Just to clarify, do you mean you’re trying to install individual cars from the dashboard Store?
For the most recent packs, you should be able to go in game and select them from the Rent menu without having to pay the DLC price.
If it’s a license transfer issue for consoles I would press MSFT for the answer.
That shouldn’t be the case as your licenses are linked to your account as well so that you can use any content you bought on any console you want as long as your Gamertag is connected to Xbox Live.
but originally when you bought the car pass it made the cars free in marketplace and then download them. now you cant do that

None of the cars are showing in game
The content update released the same day as the Smoking Tire DLC should have made the pack cars visible in the Buy and Rent lists regardless of whether you own the Car Pass or not, so I would think that’s the issue. Completely unplugging the console and starting up again doesn’t prompt a 600MB+ download?
no download to install. been on the phone with microsfot and still am. cleared the cache. did system restart. uninstalled game and dlc completely. reinstalled all dlc and game completely. still the same. Microsfot refunded the car pass which removed the license and made me rebuy it. same issue.
