I’ve been into Forza Motorsport ever since FM2. At the time I actually owned a 1999 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS coupe, and I was shocked to see that my car was actually in a video game. The fact that was able to do the same STi swap that I had in my real car blew me away.
Anyways, the day I heard that Microsoft was going to offer a XB1 Kinect-less system for $399 I made my pre-order. Had been dying to play FM5 but didn’t want to dish out $499 for the console. Well my XB1 arrived Monday evening, along with my copy of Forza 5 (same day Turn 10 announced and released the Nurburgring! How perfect!)
I have owned 13 Subarus in my life, from the RS, to WRX wagons and sedans, a 2005 STi Sedan, JDM right hand drive twin turbo Legacy GT 5spd wagon. You name it. I’m a bit crazy I guess. So of course my first pictures taken in FM5 would be a Subaru. The photo realism in this game makes me miss my 05 STi even more. I’d do anything to have that thing back.
I’ll be updating this thread as often as I can. My fiancé owns a Tangerine Scream 2013 Ford Focus ST which she loves, so I’ll probably buy that next in Forza, and snap some pictures.
I myself almost opted for the kinect-less Xbox One, but I got 100 bucks for my old 360 trade in so I just got the one with a kinect. Good thing is, is that fm5 came free
Your off to a good start, dont be afraid to experiment! The new filters offer a good starting ground too, some can be a bit extreme but with some simple setting changes to them they can work well.
Thanks guys! I have yet to try changing up any filters, just very slight adjustments with the shutter speed and that’s that. Love photography in real life, just a bit hard to get used to on a console!
