Can't Skip Practice and go straight to Race?

That’s some weird game design

Yes, it sucks a lot

Why does anyone want to skip practice?
You get rewards for every meter / yard you drive.

Normally I’m all for skipping practice in a game like this, but with this ridiculous progression system it’s almost essential to participate just to level up. :man_facepalming:

“Practice?..We talking about practice? Not the race, but practice?” lol

Is it possible to completely skip Practice and just go straight to the race? The long and annoying loading times take me out of the game.

Best you can do is backout and rejoin and hope for a shorter practice.

In Singleplayer, No. They opted to force you into practice. You can skip practice once you start your lap. But you cant skip to the race. You have to go through the whole thing.

Yeh you can skip it of course! Once the practice session starts, pause the game and fins the option to “skip practice”.

It’ll warn you against it though as you’ll lose out on the opportunity to level up your car faster.

Yeah, kind of stupid decission. You can skip practice only when you are in practice.

Lol, right. No way around it.

In Career mode you can yes.

Go to Exit and it gives you the option to Skip Practice.

Please get rid of practice laps!

You get the same rewards racing and since the game often hangs, requiring you to repeat races, we don’t feel the need to complete practice for the umpteenth time. Simple. It’s bad game design.

You missed the point. We can only do that AFTER entering practice. There is no way to skip directly to race.

I wish they had the option to jump straight into racing in multiplayer too. Not everyone is new to racing, I know how to race, i upgrade and tune my cars in free play.
Yes i know about qualifying but i would rather there was an option to start in a random grid position too.

One shot qualifying would be the best solution which is what the F1 games have used for some time now.

I rather get that XP while racing. Practice and qualification in single player modes are utterly pointless in its current form.

It’s just a filler for that sweet engagement time.
