Anyone ever had a problem with the DLC car packs and try to get a refund back?
Since my cloud storage is not syncing to the Horizon 3 game, all the DLC car packs are worthless to me. I can not even install all the DLC car packs into the game. When I try to install them, I don’t see them in the garage. Since I had to re-install this game yesterday, everything is completely gone from the game. Now I am trying to find out how to get a refund for all the DLC car packs.

Do you own the car pass or were they individual purchases?
Has the dlc ever worked for you or has it never worked?
You know they do not just appear in your garage? You need to buy them for zero credits to get them. You can do this from autoshow and then dlc tiles.
Of course everything is going to be gone cause you uninstalled the game. You wont get a refund for your own mistake cause it wont show up in your garage now that you uninstalled the game and than reinstalled it. like SatNite said, you have to go to Autoshow to buy them for $00000 credits the first time than after that the cars will cost money. they don’t just appear in your garage when you download the DLC.
I had all the DLC car packs in my garage for about a month. So everything was working fine until I had to re-installed the game.
But if the cloud storage would work correctly, I would not need to re-install the DLC car packs.
The cloud storage isn’t Turn10’s fault at all so posting on here wont do you much good. The Cloud is all Microsoft’s Issues and I do agree The Cloud is a piece of you know what lol.
And plus you can use the DLC without syncing your save you would just loose everything you did until now. The syncing is just updating your Cloud save with the most current. Mine does it all the time but I wait it out cause it doesn’t take that long. If it does than all I do is hard reset my XB1 and it syncs a lot quicker after that.
What exactly was the issue you had? All I read is that your game wouldn’t sync so you uninstalled it and reinstalled it and lost everything you did.
NVM. I see your issue in a nother thread. Did you try Hard reseting your XB1?
I contacted MS Support and they told me to contact T10 for the Cloud storage issue. They tried everything with my console but got nothing done. Now I am waiting for a respond from T10 and see why the cloud storage will not transfer all the data into my game.
It would be nice if we can save all of our game data into an external USB stick. That way, no more trusting cloud storage.
Lol oh Microsoft customer support sucks. They will tell you everything but the truth. They wont take any blame that they know is their own issue. The whole Xbox 1 is a cloud storage for game saves. But the DLC is local save on your internal hard drive or external hard drive. As for the refund part that is Microsoft’s side not Turn10’s. You paid microsoft for the dlc cause it was in there store. They get part of the money and Turn10/Playground Games gets the majority of it cause they made it. I’m like 99% sure that the Cloud issue is on Microsofts side not Turn10’s. You wont hear back from Turn10 for a while if at all. They get thousands of emails a day. I emailed them once and got a response back like 2 weeks later. I can see how Turn10’s issue is is that their game has to communicate with the cloud and that failed for your game/profile but also at the same time its microsofts issue. it could be on either end. I would bet that Turn10 would tell you to contact Microsoft. So you are going to be running in circles. Honestly I understand that you were a lvl 700 but by the time this gets resolved if at all you could be back up there in no time. Ive lost my FM5 save about 3 times, FH2 save about 2 times and FM6 save about 2 times as well to the Cloud not Syncing right and just deleting all my progress. I know your frustration.
Im sorry but who ever created/invented this thing they call The Cloud is an idiot. If I buy a game I would like 100% full control over my save on my local HDD not somewhere in a different State/country to where I cant delete it and start a new game if I wanted too lol.
Hang on is this a lost saved game issue?
ie did your game work for ages but then try to sync and when you started the game you were back at the very start?
Or do you have access to a saved game that is recent with your progress intact (apart from dlc cars)?
