Can someone please tell me something...

Why does a '99 Lotus Elise want to spin its tires going UPHILL, low RPM’S in 4th gear? And it has a tall 4th gear. I’m posting times on the A-class leader boards, TRYING to I should say, on P2P Fujimi Old Hillclimb. I’m using a tune from of the fastest guys at this track.

I think it’s my throttle control, or lack thereof. I finally ran a clean lap, it was decent, top 100, but A LOT of room for improvement. Some of it is my controller too. The left thumbstick sticks left really bad.

It has enough torque/power to do so. And probably fighting against a hill exaggerates that situation. You could try and turn down your diff acceleration numbers a bit.

It could also be the suspension settings, but if your using a SF tune you can’t do anything about that. Try dropping down into 3rd gear and keeping the revs up higher.

Yea I’m happy with the times I posted. Not long after I created this topic, my controller stopped turning right at all. Got a new one, reran the race and it was fine, even gained quite a few spots on the leader boards. Now I’m doing S-class P2P at Nurburgring. I dipped into the top 100 on stage B. I know I could get higher if only I can find a tune for this car for this stage. If anyone sees this that has a tune or that can tune one for me, please message me on live. Lotus 2-Eleven, S700, needs to be just under 450 hp, which requires drag tires, Evora engine swap and a choice of only a couple of engine upgrades, heavy rims, and maybe a sport driveshaft. I put these parts on, but I can’t tune for squat, therefore I did not adjust anything and ran mid 80’s on the leader boards. Another note, if someone does see this and and tries to make a tune with the aforementioned parts and you test it on that stage…the car will top out going downhill after the hard-right-hander at the beginning of the stage and continue to bounce off of the rev limiter for quite a distance. Thank ya’ll for the advice. GT: BttleFed
