Can someone list me B, S, and/or R class car(s) that most resemble the A Class Ferrari 360 CS? AWD (though doesn’t necessarily need to be; maybe it does. I don’t know a lot about cars but I believe that is what gives it the unshakable grip. If that IS true, then AWD only please), Excellent grip, excellent braking, excellent handling and overall cornering acceptable acceleration, meh top end.
Of course, good cars as well please (Since the Ferrari is a great car). As close as possible to the attributes I mentioned above are 100% preferred.
I drive that Ferrari literally 3x better than I drive any other car in the game. I would love a car or cars like it to drive in each of those 3 classes.
Also, if you have multiple suggestions I may consider and/or if you have a suggested tuning that could go along with the car(s) please throw them my way.
As DamMe2006 mentions, the 360 Challenge Stradale is a RWD car. It’s pretty light (about 600-400 lbs lighter than most common cars and somewhat lighter than most Ferraris even) and highly specialized for hotlapping on a track. It’s essentially a race car stuffed into a production car body.
Most cars below A class are going to struggle to match it in the handling department. Even S-class is going to have trouble matching the superb handling that car has. It was made specifically to be very nimble and light.
If you’re after handling, grip, braking in A and B classes, try the Lotus Elise (both 1999 and '05 models) and the 340R. If you install stock parts and upgrade from there you can build yourself some real competitive little cars. They will not be particularly fast top speed wise, but certainly on the smaller more technical circuits they’ve the potential to beat most cars. If you’re willing to spend a couple of quid the Elise GT1 is a real beast in S class too. I’ve not tried it in R class yet. The Ferrari F50 GT is my favourite handling car for R class. Amazing car.
For B: Lotus Elise '99 and '05.
For S: Lotus Exige S, Elise GT1 or Ferrari F50; Ferrari 458 S if you know how to create a good build & tune. The other three are no-brainers. Maybe the ACR Vipers.
For R: Ferrai F50 GT, Lambo Veneno RWD converted, McLaren F1 GT.
360 Club Sport is a nice car to drive. For unbelievable grip go for BAC Mono. S category IIRC. I don’t drive it much. It has too much of an advantage if you race on a track with corners of any kind.
360 is RWD though. Only AWD Ferrari is I think the FF. I could be wrong. Anyway, I don’t race FF. Don’t like it that much. Just a personal view.
