Hey i was wondering will my rank and money transfer over to my xbox one if i got it all on the 360

And you won’t amass Forza Rewards on your 360 as well using FH2.

So I’m getting Xbox one for Christmas and Im wondering if I keep my data (level, cars, money, etc.) when I move consoles. Or do I have to start fresh. I’m a level 179 and I would hate to have to start over at level 1 with little money and none of my fully upgraded cars.

I’m afraid you will have to start over but because the XBOX ONE version is so different it won’t be so bad

They are two different games, but your current Xbox 360 version will retain all you’ve earned there. Forza Horizon 2 on Xbox One is a much different game, though slightly similar, and you’ll need to start at the beginning. You’ll see.

The simple answer is no.

The longer answer is that FH2 on X360 is a completely different game from the XO version. It was even put together by a different studio. That’s a very different situation from Destiny, where you have the same game scaled differently for each console generation. That’s a sweet deal on Destiny, but no, you can’t get the same here. Nothing (like your cars or settings) could transfer over anyway.
